In this unique exhibition, photographs, letters, documents, objects and videos were presented, showing the longings for the Land of Israel among Jews during the Holocaust.
Our design goal for this historical exhibition was to transform the longings and emotional feelings for the land of Israel into the gallery interior. We embedded the fundamental element of the Star of David (the main symbol for the Jewish state) for the structure of the exhibition podiums to embody the constant longings throughout the time. The wall divisions, on which items and documentations were displayed, were designed in a way to guide the visitors through the chronological events and bear witness the everlasting hope and dream that kept the spirit of the Jews in the Holocaust.
