This exhibition was dedicated to the cultural history of concrete and its use in Israel from biblical indications ("we'll clothe you in a dress of concrete and cement") and up to the 1950s. The exhibition contained photos, historic documents, films, drawings and art works. The cement became a trademark of the Zionist project and the spirit of modernism in Israel and it spawned songs and stories, art works and architectural and important urban and architectural values.
The concept of exhibition design focused on components that are used for preparing cement and casting and creating objects that have been designed to contain photographed contents and screenings in unique formats. A background of reddish hues created an intimate and pleasant experience for the visitor, an unexpected setting for the world of terms surrounding cement.
